Safety and security are table stakes in the luxury hospitality industry. Service Value 11 at The Ritz-Carlton is a perfect reflection of the importance of this across our culture: I protect the privacy and security of our guests, my fellow employees and the company’s confidential information and assets.
In the not-so-distant past, it was enough for hotels to simply hold the room keys at the front desk and provide a safe for guests’ valuables. Those measures are no longer sufficient. Now, safety encompasses everything from knowing who is in the hotel at all times to protecting guests’ electronic financial data. Our Ladies and Gentlemen have a responsibility to ensure the hotel feels safe for our guests who choose to make our destinations their home away from home during their travels.

That same keen eye for detail we use when crafting meaningful, personal moments for our guests allows us to quickly take note of anything “out of the ordinary” that may be of concern. We use discretion at all times and diligently protect the privacy of our guests.
